Trouble with Team Arena - Guild Wars Forums

I was trying to PvP with my friend, but it wouldn't let me go to the Team arenas or to Heroes ascent, do you have to be ascended or do a certain mission/quest before you are allowed to go to the team arena?

I believe you have to win 5 consecutive battles in Competition Arenas to unlock Team Arenas for your account. Perhaps someone else can help you with what needs to be done to unlock Hero's Ascent, as I can't remember at the moment.

Unless you've already played in TA or HA on your account, I'd be willing to bet that you simply haven't unlocked them yet.

I having the same problem. I dont have team or heores arena. I have got to 4 consecutive battles in random. And people tell me all kindas of thinks to get team arena. Like talk to some guy in droks or i have to assend then talk to some guy in droks. I just want to know what I have to do to get there.

Then here is an unambiguous answer.

-Winning 5 consecutive matches in Random Arena will unlock Team Arena. It will appear on your map and you may travel there.

-Winning 10 consecutive matches in Random Arena will tranport you and your current team directly to a Team Arena match. When you lose after 10 consecutive wins, you will be in Team Arena.

An easy way to unlock TA is to play a monk. You dont even have to be a very efficient one.
